Our cute little teracotta bowls are perfect for serving olives, dips, oils and spices or just look gorgeous in their own right...in the kitchen, or perched on a mantelpiece in the lounge. 

Glazed in a beautiful range of vibrant colours; yellow, orange, turquoise, red, and teal. Each colour works beautifully on its own, or you can have some fun and mix all the different colours together! 

Why do we love our little terracotta bowls? 

When we lived in Turkey, our favourite meal was most definitely Türk Kahvaltı, which translated means Turkish breakfast. Not just the most delicious meal, but a special event in itself...always shared with friends, often lasting the whole morning, & of course accompanied by endless glasses of çay (Turkish tea). 

At home our little earthenware bowls always make an appearance when we indulge in our own full on ‘Türk Kahvaltı’’. The joy of a Türk Kahvaltı is getting as many Turkish breakfast treats on the table, & ultimately onto our plates, as possible! So these little bowls are just perfect. 

For our Türk Kahvaltı there are always plenty of little bowls on the table! A bowl for the honey, a bowl for the tahini...not forgetting the yoghurt, butter, höşmerim (a paste made of ground walnuts, cheese & semolina), olives, fresh chillies, walnuts, pul biber  (dried red pepper flakes) and last, but not least acılı ezme, a kind of  spicy Turkish salsa. 

As they say in Turkey, “Afiyet Olsun” ...Enjoy your meal !
