This is our Emin blanket in beautiful shades of blue, grey, coral, cream and brown. These heavy-weight, ethically made blankets or pike (pee-kay) as they are called in Turkey, are handwoven in Buldan on traditional semi-automatic looms. This collection is distinguished by its use of the traditional diamond pattern found in so many Turkish textiles. The Emin uses a striking diamond weave with contrasting colours to create dimension and texture. Made from fine-grade 100% Turkish cotton that creates a relaxed but dense structure, these blankets feel especially soft and drape beautifully for use as sofa throws or bed covers.
So how do we use our Emin blanket and throw?
In our home we have an unusually long and narrow second living room which was a challenging space to furnish and find a use for. We eventually discovered the amazing ‘nabu’ sofa, which you self-build to your exact specification for any odd shaped or size of room. We are now enjoying living with the longest sofa we’ve ever experienced and now have the perfect ‘reading and lazing around room’. When we returned from Turkey last year with our Emin samples, I knew they would be perfect for our new sofa. The joy of our lengthy sofa is that we don’t have the difficulty of having to choose which one of our beautiful range of Emin collection colours to use …it's big enough to indulge in two or sometimes even three at once! They are great for adding colour to our sofa or just snuggling under on cold wintry evenings.

Because our Turkish blankets and throws are hand woven you may occasionally find tiny thread pulls and knots in the fabric. This is because during the weaving process threads sometimes catch in the loom and the weavers simply snip the loop and then either push the loose threads back into the weave or knot them up. At Pazaar we think this all adds to the character and uniqueness of each of our blankets and throws….no one blanket is the same as the other. We endeavour to check all our products before we send them out to customers, but very occasionally a little knot or pulled thread will slip by us. If this happens and you want to return or exchange your throw this is absolutely fine. Please read through the Pazaar Returns Guidance **** link to returns guidance and we will be more than happy to exchange your blanket and throw.
